The Summer program is divided up into 8 weeks.
Club runs from 7:45 AM to 5:15 PM.

Bus service is available through all points transit
Lunch is provided by Montrose County School District every day other than field trips.
Lunch is available to all youth. kids can stop by and grab lunch, they don't have to be registered.
June 3rd- June 7th
Take to the skies with us as we explore the ins and outs (and the ups and downs) of Aeronautics. Members will learn about everything that flight (flying) entails.
Cost per child: $100
Field Trips: Tuesday- visit the Montrose airport 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
June 10rd- June 14th
Members take on the world entrepreneurship. They will learn how to start a business, diversify and expand. We will explore startups, business partnerships, growth potential, and much more.

June 17th- June 21st
Members will study all things bug! We will examine many facets of entomology. We will study all 5 insect classifications. From Purposeful Pollinators to Creepy Crawlies. From the tips of the antenna to the end of the thorax.

Field Trips: Tuesday- Visit Grand Junction Butterfly and Botanical Garden, June 18th.
June 24th- June 28th
Find the adventures that you can seek in and around our beautiful valley. Explore your own backyard and discover the lost art of nature. Fishing, hiking, biking and more!

Field Trips: Box canyon, Rafting in collaboration with Friends of Youth and Nature, and Black Canyon.
July 1st - July 5th
To celebrate the 4th of July and give our team some rest.
July 8th- July 12th
Reach for the stars and explore the final frontier. Members will study everything from solar systems to rocketry. Build your own rocket or a robotic rover for Mars. Let’s go where the club has never gone before!

Presentation by the Astronomy Club!
July 15th- July 19th
Make it work! Members will learn how to design pieces, how to use a sewing machine, and will show off their project in their own runway show. They will learn about reusing materials, staying on a budget and color theory.

July 22nd- July 26th
A week of water fun. Members will learn about aquatic habitats and the animals that live in them. Some activities will include fishing, swimming and other water play.

Field Trips: MRD Swimming Pool.
July 29th- August 2nd
Travel through time with a different time period each day and enjoy dress up contests, music and fun.
