Relay for Life June 6th & 7th

Fifteen middle and high-school aged youth from the Black Canyon Boys and Girls Club in Olathe are taking a bold stand against Cancer. With the help of Olathe Site Director Ashley Beard, on June 6^th -7^th, 2008 the teens will be walking for 24 hours on the track of Montrose High School in a national event known as Relay for Life. The team from the Boys and Girls Club has set an ambitious goal of raising $1,000 dollars for cancer research. The Black Canyon Boys & Girls Club (BCBGC) is a safe place where area youth ages 9-18 can go after school and during the summer to participate in programs and activities that help develop the assets needed to be caring, responsible members of the community.
